I'm Kathryn

I'm going to let you in on a secret: I love looking at pictures from my childhood, but not because I want to see the little-me. I love seeing my young Mom, smoothing back my hair. My arm’s around the early 90s version of my Dad. I love to see the connection we're sharing, the way their love for me is jumping out of the picture. 

My aim isn't just to take some stylized, cute beach photos. I'm here to document your family as you are right now - having a wonderful time together, just as you always do, but this time in some more coordinating outfits.

My kids made me do it.

My interest in photography was born out of my love for my family and the desire to document the little details that feel so every day and then one day you notice are gone. As a Mom of three, I know how fast chubby fingers pulling at your hair turn into little hands who love tickle fights. 

Documenting every stage of my kiddos' life (and making sure I'm in a few shots too!) helps me feel at peace as they grow and change. Rather than feeling sad about what was, I know there is something fun to love about every single stage and age that I get to now digitally capture!

The details that would otherwise blur and fade with time are forever saved in beautiful, light and airy color.
